About this policy

Effsonal is operated by Erick Gustavo Flores Barrios, based in Guatemala City, Guatemala. For privacy questions or requests, email eflores@effsonal.com.

This policy covers the informational website and Effsonal email updates. Effsonal is in development. This website does not provide product accounts, take payments, or collect your health, financial or venture records. Any future product will explain its data practices before you use it.

What we collect

If you subscribe, we collect your email address. MailerLite, our email provider, processes subscription status, signup source, confirmation and unsubscribe records, and technical information needed to operate and protect its services, which may include IP address, browser information and timestamps.

MailerLite can also process email engagement information, including opens and link clicks, depending on email settings. Regular link clicks can be associated with your subscriber record. If you contact us, we receive your contact details and the contents of your message.

How we use information

We use your email to send Effsonal product updates and future-access news, manage your subscription and honor your preferences. We use inquiry information to respond to you, and necessary technical information to deliver messages, prevent abuse and resolve problems.

Subscribing is optional. Where consent is required, we rely on your consent for subscription emails; you can withdraw it at any time. We process service, inquiry and security information only as needed for those purposes and under the legal basis applicable to that processing.

We do not sell your personal information or provide the subscriber list to others for their own marketing.

Providers and international processing

We use MailerLite for signup forms, subscriber management and email delivery. See MailerLite’s Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum.

When this website is hosted on Cloudflare, Cloudflare processes connection and security information to serve and protect the site. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

Providers and their subprocessors may process information outside Guatemala or your country. Their applicable contractual protections, including transfer safeguards where required, govern that processing. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your data. We may disclose limited information when required by law or necessary to address misuse or protect legal rights.

Cookies and email tracking

Our own website code has no advertising pixels or separate analytics service. The embedded form loads MailerLite code when the page opens, so your browser contacts MailerLite before you submit an email. MailerLite may use cookies or browser storage for form functionality. Our intended email configuration disables open tracking and optional Google Analytics and e-commerce tracking. MailerLite still tracks regular link clicks. We do not claim that all provider logging or tracking is disabled. You can unsubscribe if you no longer want these messages.

How long we keep information

Our retention policy is to keep active subscription information while you remain subscribed and the updates list is operating, with a review at least annually to remove information no longer needed.

We remove unconfirmed signup records within 30 days. After unsubscribe or a verified deletion request, we stop marketing messages and remove the active profile within 30 days, except for limited records needed to respect an opt-out, document permission or meet a legal obligation. Minimal suppression records may include email address, status and unsubscribe date. We review their continued necessity annually. Unsubscribe does not automatically erase every record.

We normally keep general inquiry messages for up to 12 months after the last exchange, unless an ongoing request or legal obligation requires longer retention. Provider logs and backup copies follow the provider’s applicable retention and deletion processes.

Your choices and rights

Use the unsubscribe link in an update email, or email eflores@effsonal.com. You can also request access, correction or deletion. We may need proportionate identity verification to respond safely.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to object, restrict processing, receive portable data, withdraw consent or complain to a relevant data-protection authority. Rights may have conditions or exceptions. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

Children, security and changes

This website and updates list are not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can address it.

We use reasonable measures appropriate to this limited information and restrict access to people and providers who need it. No system guarantees absolute security.

We will update this policy when practices change and provide additional notice or request consent where required. Future product data collection will be explained before it begins.
